Motocross is an individual sport and we love it! However, as parents of a racer in an individual sport, we have struggled with issues that are unique to our sport. We noticed that all of the "challenges" we struggled with all summer with our son and motocross seemed to disappear when football started. I know, I know, some of you are thinking, "Maybe the kid just likes football better. Motocross isn't his sport." Sorry, wish it were that simple. He loves motocross and hopes to be a pro someday! What we started to realize was that the fun and camaraderie our son experienced with his team mates in football was something we couldn't give him in an individual sport such as motocross. ??.or could we? Yes, motocross is an individual sport, buy why can't racers have team mates?
