Denmark Triplecross Race | by AirTimeRacing | posted on 04/21/2008 05:58:35 AM EST [ collapse · collapse all · expand all · ] Well, the first Triplecross race is in the books.
We had very dry conditions at Denmark and a very one lined, hard packed track. I heard that 350+ riders showed up for an awesome sun filled weekend of racing. With the temps above 70* it was a pleasant surprise vs. what we have been seeing lately.
The Green Bay area did not get any of the rain that the rest of the state did over the past week and we raced in very dry conditions.
Our races didn't go as expected as our rider (Cody Fredrick) crashed hard on Saturday in practice and rode Sunday with a badly bruised hip and back. He showed a lot of heart and courage just by slinging a leg over his bike Sunday morning and then riding to a forth place overall on the day against a field of about 30 riders.
We are hoping to improve on our results when we go back to Denmark in two weeks!
